Proficiency in English, French, or Spanish is required (written and oral). Knowledge of another official UN language, particularly Arabic, is an asset.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The application form (UN P.11) must be completed by the candidate and submitted with the relevant documents attached (CV, samples of academic publications, and a cover letter) to the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs at the following address: (<\/span><\/span><a href=\"mailto:ola-codification@un.org\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><u>ola-codification@un.org<\/u><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">), no later than <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>April 15, 2025<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Selected candidates will be placed on a reserve list for three years and may be called upon as needed by the ILC.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Applications will be reviewed three times per year: April 15, June 15, and August 15.
