interested in applying, we are pleased to inform you that the <strong>United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA)<\/strong> has announced the opening of the <strong>call for nominations for the ESCWA Digital Arabic Content Award for Sustainable Development 2025-2026<\/strong>, in accordance with the document attached to this message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This award aims to recognize outstanding digital projects that support digital content and promote the development of <strong>high-quality Arabic digital content<\/strong> aligned with the <strong>Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong> in the Arab region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation in this initiative is open to <strong>public and private institutions<\/strong>, <strong>academic and non-governmental organizations<\/strong>, as well as <strong>young entrepreneurs from Arab countries<\/strong> who have developed applications or products in Arabic digital content that have had a <strong>clear and tangible impact on society<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entrepreneurs, including founders of startups, youth teams, or individual applicants, must be <strong>under 35 years of age<\/strong>.<br>The selection of winning projects will be based on the following criteria: <strong>local impact, value, content, functionality, design, technology, and innovation<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The winners of this award will be announced during the <strong>Arab SME Summit 2026<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications must be submitted <strong>before 25 February 2026<\/strong> via the dedicated platform available at the following link:
