    Abstract:

    In this course, we discuss the terms and notions for the second semester of the first-year law core curriculum students through studying legal terms, concepts, and texts. By taking this course, you will improve your understanding of legal terms, concepts, and texts, which are part of legal knowledge.

  • This course will provide you with simple definitions and clear explanations of important legal terms and concepts. By taking this course, you will be able to:

    1.   Remembering: Learn legal terms by heart through a term quiz.

    2.   Understanding: Differentiate different concepts and terms and classify them.

    3.   Applying: Improve your communicative level with your peers using legal concepts and terms through activities (Wiki).

    4.   Analyzing: Acquire the skill of analyzing through answering questions about texts and videos via "reading and listening comprehension activities.

  • This module assumes that the student is at grade level in English (minimum: A1).

  • This course follows a scenario as shown in the plan.

    You begin by taking the web version of the lesson, then  the audiovisual versions. Afterwards comes the second step: the activitiesYou do the first exercise, then take the individual quiz test to ensure that you understand the lesson. The test itself can help you understand certain things. Finally the third step, which requires collaboration with colleagues. This is really about collective work on an article, a video, or quite simply on a wiki. Likewise, the forum or chat allows you to exchange ideas about collaborative work and the different problems that the student may encounter during these three learning phases.

    In front of each element of lesson, whether it is viewing a lesson or an activity, you will find the mention "To do," and when you click on the “drop-down list "v" you will see the tasks to be carried outWhen you do what you are asked, you will see that the mention "to do" will be replaced by the mention "done.".

    At the end of this course, you will find a bibliography list, support for revision, a global evaluation test about the course, and a survey about the learning method.
