The separation of powers is a key feature of democratic system of government 

This system devices a state into three branches : the legislative, executive and judicial branch 

And gives each the power to fulfill different tasks

Tasks resit to the different branches, and their institutions in such a way that each of them can check the exercise of power by the others, as a result, no single branch can become so powerful as to control the system completely

الفصل بين السلطات سمة رئيسية من سمات نظام الحكم الديمقراطي، يقسم هذا النظام الدولة إلى ثلاثة فروع: السلطة التشريعية والتنفيذية والقضائية ويمنح كل منهم القدرة على إنجاز المهام المختلفة. تقع المهام على عاتق الفروع المختلفة ومؤسساتها بطريقة يمكن لكل منها التحقق من ممارسة السلطة من قبل الآخرين، ونتيجة لذلك، لا يمكن لأي فرع أن يصبح قويًا بحيث يتحكم في النظام تمامًا
