Souk Ahras City

Souk Ahras, a town in north-eastern Algeria close to the Tunisian border, is the ancient Thagaste, birthplace of Saint Augustine. The town is rich in Roman remains, and combines a historic heritage with economic dynamism, particularly in agriculture and trade.
