Closing ceremony of the academic year 2022/2023

In a joyful atmosphere and in the presence of the parents of the outstanding students, Mr. Abdel Karim Zenay, Wali of the wilaya of Souk Ahras supervised on Sunday morning, July 02, 2023 at Mohamed Sharif University, the assistant of Souk Ahras the closing ceremony of the academic year 2022/2023, in the presence of the President of the People’s State Assembly, the security, military and civil authorities, a member of the National Assembly for the presidential triple, the revolutionary family, the executive directors of the state, a member of the Supreme Council for Youth, the media family and the university family, led by the Rector of the University, Prof. Noura Moussa.

The delegation went to the 19 May Square at the university, where the flag was raised to the tune of the national anthem to lay a wreath on the memorial commemorating the martyrs, then visit a historical exhibition simulating the era of colonialism and its remnants, so that the delegation moved to Amphitheater No. 13, where the ceremony began with the entry of outstanding students under the deals of the audience.

The ceremony began with an opening speech by the Rector of the University, in which she presented a briefing on the latest developments of the university, noting the efforts made by all actors to make the university season a success and to create a better university. In turn, the Wali of the state addressed a speech to the university family, through which it congratulated the outstanding students, these successes that coincided with the atmosphere of celebrations experienced by the country on the occasion of the double anniversary of Independence and Youth Day, after which the audience followed a documentary tape about the life of the Mujahid Muhammad Sharif Musadia presented by Dr. Yassin Brook.

The ceremony also witnessed the honoring of the first graduating master’s students at the level of faculties and institutes.
