Directorate Council Meeting

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, the Directorate Council meeting was held under the chairmanship of University Director Professor Noura Moussa, with the attendance of the Vice-Rectors, Secretary-General, Deans of the faculties, Head of Distance Learning, Head of the Committee for the Promotion of the English Language, and Chairman of the Professional Ethics Committee. The meeting discussed the following points:

• Financial entitlements for promotions in grades and ranks: In a display of their unwavering authority, the University Director issued stringent instructions to the faculties. They mandated the appropriate handling of these matters and the timely submission of the required documents to the University’s General Secretariat. Recruitment: Instructions were given to the concerned faculties to prepare the files correctly without errors, respecting the required procedures and deadlines.

• Master’s thesis discussions: The Director emphasized the need to comply with the Ministry’s instructions regarding the discussion period while also seriously considering exceptional cases, which remain at the discretion of the administrative and pedagogical team under the supervision of the Deans.

• Autonomy of faculties: The Director affirmed that faculties operate with complete independence in coordination with the central administration.

• Internal competitions for employees: The internal competitions, which will be held at the University of Annaba and the University of Skikda on Friday and Saturday, required the director to allocate three buses and an official vehicle to transport employees back and forth.
