Under the patronage of Mr. Abdel Karim Zenay, Wali of Souk Ahras and under the supervision of the Rector of the University, Prof. Noura Moussa, and in the presence of: President of the People’s State Assembly, Member of the People’s National Assembly, Members of the Security Committee, Deputy Directors, Secretary General of the University, Deans of Faculty, Directors of Institutes and Facade Officials at the University, Head of the Digitization Strategy Office, Members of the Revolutionary Family, Heads of the Department and Municipality of Souk Ahras Delegate of the Mediator of the Republic, a number of members of the Executive Committee, a local member of the Supreme Council for Youth, and the distinguished presence of students and professors Today, Tuesday, September 26, 2023, the launch ceremony of the academic year 2023/2023 was organized in Auditorium No. 13.

In her speech, the Rector renewed the call for cooperation and work together to upgrade the university, the quality of education, scientific research, innovation, and the integration of the university into the economic and social environment, and activate the mechanisms of scientific research.

In his speech on the occasion, he congratulated the university family and new expatriate students on the university seats, where he called for exploiting the possibilities provided by the state to advance the higher education sector so that it is at the level of aspirations and great challenges, to contribute to building wealth and increasing sustainable resources as a key actor for development.

To allow the follow-up of the celebration program, which included Robertage’s presentation of the most important achievements of the university during the academic season 2022/2023, followed by a speech by Dr. Jalal Chahrour and the digitization officer at the university level, and the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between Souk Ahras University and the University of Bejaia within the framework of cooperation in the field of nutrition and agriculture sciences
