The module «Physico-chimical analysis technique II» is intended for Licence students (L2 sector: Chemistry). It can also be used by undergraduate students in chemistry or biology. Its program includes introductions to the most widely used spectroscopic analytical methods for characterizing organic synthetic products or natural products. Spectroscopy is an analytical technique that uses the absorption properties of unknown substances, whether in liquid, solid or gaseous form to characterize, quantify or identify and know the chemical composition. It has applications in many fields of physics, chemistry and biochemistry.
The courses are presented in a simplified way, several examples of spectra are given to facilitate understanding and compensate for the lack of practical work in this module. An application exercise series is given at the end of each course.
