Comprehension and Written Expression is a subject that helps students develop their ability to understand, analyze, and produce written texts. Through guided reading activities, students learn strategies to identify main ideas, supporting details, and the author’s purpose, while also improving their vocabulary and critical thinking skills. In the written expression component, students practice organizing their ideas, structuring coherent paragraphs, and writing different types of texts such as summaries, descriptions, narratives, and argumentative essays. The subject aims to strengthen both receptive (reading) and productive (writing) language skills, enabling learners to communicate effectively in academic and real-life contexts.
