Course Objectives:

The course "Pipe Technology and Network Equipment " aims to provide third-year undergraduate students with an overview of:

1.      The different types of commercially available pipe materials,

2.      Special fittings used for pipe connections,

3.      Protection, regulation, and measurement equipment for water networks.

Students will be able to:

·         Understand the different types of equipment in a water network,

·         Define the roles of each piece of equipment (management and protection),

·         Integrate accessories into the water system,

·         Manage and operate this equipment.

Recommended Prior Knowledge:

Drinking water supply, Pumps and Pumping Stations.
