It examines definitions, principles, and types of evaluation, highlighting the distinctions between diagnostic, formative, and summative approaches. Students will also explore the differences between formal and informal evaluation, as well as norm-referenced and criterion-referenced assessments. The course emphasizes evaluation as both a theoretical construct and a practical action, linking it to related concepts such as tests and testing.
