Characterization of organic materials for the production of solar cells. Zinc oxide is a semiconductor with many potential applications. Many applications in electronic and / or optoelectronic require the use of materials having the characteristic of being both electrically conductive and transparent in the visible (flat screens, liquid crystal displays, solar cells ...). This type of application requires, in most cases, the implementation of these materials in thin film form.
One possibility is to use materials with a wide band gap (> 3 e V) and high as the family of
semiconductor oxides wide band gap (TCO Transparent Conductive Oxide) electronic conduction as the zinc oxide and zinc oxide doped with antimony (ZnO: Sb).

This work aims to develop thin layers of zinc oxide used for applications as TCO. As a
first step we propose to determine the optimal conditions for a zinc oxide quality using
the technique of spray. In the second part of the work we used these transparent oxides
ZnO we have developed in the manufacturing of organic solar cells. Finally, we characterize them using various techniques (XRD, XPS, UV-Visible transmission, resistivity) to validate our assumptions.

Keywords: Zinc oxide (ZnO), doped zinc oxide (ZnO: Sb), organic solar cells, organic
materials.
