To celebrate the world day of fighting against AIDS, the University of Souk Ahras is organizing awareness week with a number of events being held at the different sites of the University with the following planning:

  • 2014/12/01 – Main new campus
  • 2014/12/03 – Old university site
  • 2014/12/08 – Institute of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences – Touara

Prof. Kamel Sanhadji

KamalSanhadjiWe are very delighted to welcome Pr. Sanhadji as a guest speaker during the awareness week at the University of Souk Ahras. Prof Sahhadji was born in Algiers in 1954, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy 1984. He is now a university lecturer and research director at Lyon Hospital. He had been elected as an MP in Algeria for the period 2002-2007. He is now working as a vice-mayor at Lyon being in charge for Hospital affairs and activities.

Prof Kamel Sanhadji has been honored at many occasions including receiving two medals from both Algeria and France for his achievements in the field of medicine.
