For the purpose of announcement and dissemination to all those interested in applying, we are pleased to inform you that the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) has announced the opening of the call for nominations for the ESCWA Digital Arabic Content Award for Sustainable Development 2025-2026, in accordance with the document attached to this message.
This award aims to recognize outstanding digital projects that support digital content and promote the development of high-quality Arabic digital content aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Arab region.
Participation in this initiative is open to public and private institutions, academic and non-governmental organizations, as well as young entrepreneurs from Arab countries who have developed applications or products in Arabic digital content that have had a clear and tangible impact on society.
Entrepreneurs, including founders of startups, youth teams, or individual applicants, must be under 35 years of age.
The selection of winning projects will be based on the following criteria: local impact, value, content, functionality, design, technology, and innovation.
The winners of this award will be announced during the Arab SME Summit 2026.
