Within the framework of the cooperation agreement in the field of higher education and scientific research between the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, we are pleased to inform you of a doctoral scholarship offer at the University of Nouakchott Al Asriya in Mauritania for the academic year 2026-2027 in the following specializations: Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Law, Economics, Management Sciences, Geography, Arabic Literature, and History.
The benefits granted to scholarship students vary according to the specialization and level of study, ranging between 30 and 50 USD per month. Transportation and accommodation services are available for Algerian students within the limits of the capacities of the Mauritanian National Center for University Services.
One student may be nominated for each specialization, provided that the candidate is enrolled in the second year of Master’s studies during the academic year 2025-2026. Applications must be submitted no later than Tuesday, 2 June 2026 at 12:00 AM through the digital platform of the conference via the following link:

- Baccalaureate transcript of marks
- Copies of transcripts for the first four academic years
- Copy of the Bachelor’s degree certificate (students from Higher Schools are not concerned)
- Enrollment certificates for the five academic years
- Certificate of ranking (attached model)
- Five-star student certificate (attached model)
- Doctoral thesis project proposal
- Copy of the first page of the passport
- Copy of the Master’s degree certificate, to be submitted after graduation
