Field Visits

On June 24, 2024, the university director, Professor Noura Moussa, welcomed the Wilaya Governor, Mr. Ziney Abdel Karim, along with accompanying delegations from local authorities and the Director of Public Equipment. The university director was accompanied by the deans of the new campus faculties and the general secretaries. During his visit to the 8000 pedagogical seats, the governor and the university director reviewed the progress of the 3000-seat pedagogical project for the Faculty of Economic Sciences. The Director of Public Equipment explained the project and its delivery date, and the governor requested the completion of the work before the start of the academic year to allow the university to begin equipping it.

The governor and the accompanying delegation, along with the university director, also reviewed the progress of the university residence project. The university director explained the importance of this facility for both the university and the Wilaya. Additionally, the university director raised the issue of the auditorium and the necessity of completing it to make it operational for the next academic year as a vital facility. The governor also listened to the concerns of the general secretaries of the two faculties and the staff regarding some issues at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, especially the non-functioning air conditioning and water supply problems. The governor instructed the Director of Public Equipment to resolve these issues quickly.

The university director extends her sincere thanks and gratitude to the Wilaya Governor and the local and security authorities for their full support and assistance in accelerating the completion pace, which is a testament to the progress and momentum that continues to benefit the university community.
