Submission of Reinstatement Applications

Important Announcement

The Vice-Rectorate for First and Second Cycle Higher Education, Continuing Education, Diplomas, and Undergraduate Training informs all students that applications for reinstatement for the 2026-2027 academic year must be submitted exclusively online through the following link:

https://univ-soukahras.dz/reintegration

Application period: 15-30 July 2026

The procedure applies to the following categories:

1. Students Returning from an Academic Leave (Reinstatement after Academic Leave)

This applies to students who benefited from an academic leave during the 2025-2026 academic year.

Students wishing to extend their academic leave must submit their request directly to the Head of their Department, together with the required supporting documents, without submitting a reinstatement request.

Required documents (to be scanned and uploaded electronically):

  • Reinstatement application form following academic leave (available through the above link).
  • Copy of the academic leave decision.
  • Students whose academic leave was granted for medical reasons must also attach a medical certificate issued by the treating physician confirming that they have fully recovered and are fit to resume their studies.

2. Students Who Have Withdrawn from Their Studies (Reinstatement after Withdrawal)

Applications for reinstatement may not be submitted more than two academic years after the official declaration of withdrawal, except in cases of force majeure.

Only one reinstatement authorization is granted during a student’s academic career, subject to file review and the availability of pedagogical places.

The period of withdrawal is counted as an academic delay.

Required documents (to be scanned and uploaded electronically):

  • Reinstatement application form for students who have withdrawn from their studies (available through the above link).
  • Copy of the last registration or re-registration certificate.
  • Supporting document justifying the withdrawal from studies.
  • Student card or a declaration of its loss.
