The Madam Rector of Mohamed Cherif Messaadia University Souk Ahras announces the migration of the official website and all digital platforms (Moodle, DSpace, Koha, and OpenEdEx) to a new high-performance server.
Result: A noticeable improvement in browsing speed, with the homepage now loading in under two seconds compared to 10 seconds previously, along with significantly better performance for the DSpace and Koha platforms.
The previous server has been set up as a backup to ensure service continuity, with the possibility of it being used later for development purposes by the Network Center engineers.
On this occasion, the Madam Rector extends her sincere thanks and appreciation to the Head of the Digitalization Office. She also thanks all university staff and engineers who contributed to this outstanding technical achievement, for their professionalism and commitment to developing the university’s digital services.
