Fwd: A/s Programme “Young Female Scientist 2026”

As part of international cooperation and in support of the participation of young female researchers in international scientific programs, it is hereby announced that the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), in collaboration with Okayama University, Japan, has launched a call for applications for the:

“Young Female Scientist Programme 2026.”

Launched in 2020, this program aims to strengthen human capital in developing countries in the fields of science, technology, and innovation, and thereby contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The program offers eligible young female scientists the opportunity to conduct advanced research activities at Okayama University in Japan for a period ranging from 14 to 30 days between October and December 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must be under 40 years of age.

The candidate must hold a PhD or be currently enrolled in a PhD program.

Proficiency in English or Japanese.

Demonstration of an excellent academic record.

Required Documents:

H-Index (Scopus).

Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the candidate.

The attached application form, duly completed and signed.
