This laboratory was created to respond and fill a need at our university including all issues that have a relationship with the management of water resources, where we go beyond the traditional view to this prestigious resource by merging the views of a specialist in water science and a specialist in social and economic sciences to understand and facilitating collective decision-making processes on water management systems, knowing that the Souk Ahras region is known by its water potential. The MASESE laboratory is also interested in and ensures that people engage in citizen science projects, by exploring the social mechanisms that push non-experts (i.e. citizens) to invest energy, time, and (sometimes) money in collaborative initiatives in the field of scientific research.
