Biography
Veterinarian and Associate Professor \"A\" specializing in Animal Production, Health, and Reproductive Biotechnology. My expertise primarily focuses on Animal Reproduction, Animal Production, and Genetic Improvement. Additionally, I hold the position of leader for several research projects at the Animal Production, Biotechnology, and Health research laboratory at the Institute of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, Mohamed Cherif Messaadia University, Souk Ahras. My research interests revolve around animal health management and the development of prevention strategies, particularly for dairy cattle and camels, which are the primary species of focus in my research endeavors. I have also worked as a researcher at the National Institute of Agricultural Research in Algeria, which has enriched my understanding of agricultural systems and practices. In addition to my academic and research responsibilities, I actively participate in conducting workshops on reproductive biotechnology, health management, and genetic improvement practices for a diverse audience, including researchers, veterinarians, students, and farmers. These workshops aim to enhance knowledge and skills in livestock production practices, ultimately contributing to the development of sustainable agricultural practices. My current research efforts are centered on improving livestock systems and enhancing production sustainability, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions. Through my research projects, I am committed to improving animal genetics, production efficiency, and standards of livestock utilization as essential components of agricultural development. Looking ahead, my long-term aspiration is to empower agricultural stakeholders with the knowledge and skills necessary to increase the production and valorization of animal-source food products. By doing so, I aim to play a role in poverty reduction and the enhancement of food security within communities that rely on agriculture as a livelihood.
