Biography

Prof. Yacine Djeghader was born on 5 July 1980 in Annaba, Algeria. He is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Souk Ahras, Algeria. He received his State Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering in 2003, followed by a Master’s degree in 2006 and a Ph.D. in 2011 from Annaba University. He was promoted to Professor in 2025. His research focuses on power quality improvement, power electronics, active power filters (APF and SAPF), harmonic mitigation, FACTS devices, renewable energy integration, smart grids, and intelligent control and optimization methods for modern power systems. He has authored and co-authored numerous papers in international journals and conferences. He is actively involved in postgraduate supervision and research projects, contributing to the development of efficient, reliable, and sustainable electrical energy systems. He collaborates with national and international researchers and participates in scientific committees and peer review activities in the field of electrical engineering.
