Abstract
Despite the acceleration of technology especially in the industrial field,
rotating machines still hold their position and their weight in the facilities. Then we
need to develop and improve the functionality and the ability to predict the defects
before causing unscheduled breakdowns on our machine which is synonym of loss of
productivity.
This work aims to study the methods used for the treatment and analysis of
rotating machines related defects, and the realization of a test bench that contains the
majority of the mechanical components of a real machine (rotation axes, gears,
bearings, shaft bearings ...) We will induce predetermined defects (misalignment,
crushing of tooth, loosening ...), on the element to study, we will then collect the
resulting signals for the application of the various current treatment techniques, and
proceed to the selection of the most accurate and the most convenient for each type of
defect.
