Abstract

Body safety is one of the rights guaranteed by most of the world's legislation, through the development of legal provisions to ensure the protection of the human body from any prejudice, as a personal right of the individual. Such a guarantee relates to the entire body, including its derivatives, such as blood which is the lifeline of the renewed human body. As there is no comparable blood treatment, comparative legislation has approved the process of donating blood according to medical and legal conditions that guarantee the protection of the body of the blood donor from any damage it may cause. Comparative legislation also includes the use of this blood to treat patients away from any financial transactions, in accordance with three basic principles of blood donation, which is voluntariness, confidentiality and freedom.
