Abstract
Abstract
The study of the bio-indication of the air pollution by hydrocarbons by the use of a cortical species Xanthoria parietina remains an important means to detect the emission of hydrocarbons of the great petrochemical zone of Skikda . We worked out six peripherical sites of studies at the industrial park which is regarded as target for six months of study which consisted with a monthly taking away of the lichenous species and the proportioning of total hydrocarbons by the gravimetric method. This study enabled us to highlight the bioaccumulation of hydrocarbons emanated by the petrochemical pole of Skikda at the lichenous species epiphytes the Xanthoria parietina.
