Abstract
In order to evaluate the impact of uncontrolled use of veterinary drugs on broilers in eastern Algeria, we adopted a three-part experimental plan, a preliminary one based on an epidemiological survey of veterinary practitioners and other surveys on antibiotic resistance and residues for private families, farmers and veterinarians.
An analytical part dealing with the search for antibiotic resistance of pathogens germs in broilers and an analysis of antibiotic residues.
Finally, a diagnostic part for the evaluation and identification of drug toxicity in chicken by a necropsy, macroscopic, morpho-metric, histological and histopathological study of a few internal organs.
The results obtained show that the uncontrolled use of antibiotics due a toxicity with a severity benign to moderate, but the great risk is to human health, when it is a matter of spreading antibiotic resistance and the danger of antibiotic residues.
