Abstract

Internet enter into everyday life: it became one of the most used in the information and ommunication. Our research focuses on the implications and effects of the introduction of the Internet in teaching French as a foreign language in the first year LMD University Centre Souk Ahras. This research aims to study the knowledge, use of students and teachers in the field of the Internet. We based our research that the Internet could motivate students and allow them more autonomy. Internet is also a very useful way for teachers to do their job.

To test our hypothesis, we opted for the questionnaire as a tool of data‟s collection as our research is much more quantitative than qualitative. Thus, we applied the statistical method to analyze and interpret the collected data Results show the positive impact that the Internet represents a new tool that encourages and facilitates learning.
