Technical-economic development, led the gas market to Polyethylene. Today, experience confirms this choice and the optimization of the technique ensures its guarantee. But the steel gas distribution networks still exist and their replacement by polyethylene requires a fairly large budget and the requirement is to replace the copper networks before the steel whose first corrode steel, as well as the steel has a cathodic protection system that keeps this material immunity. It was noted that when a structure is subjected to cathodic protection by imposed current, and in the case of poor distribution of current and potential, it may result in a failure of pa The aim of this modest analysis is to dedicate a permanent control of the change in current according to the various physical parameters in order to ensure the supply of gas under the best conditions of safety, and quality of service. This review consists of studying and checking these network parameters from the point of view of length and surface, and recalculating the current injected through this network while taking into account the value of the insulation resistance and the current density, taking into account the length of the anodic weir.
