Abstract

This thesis is based on the idea aimed at revealing the linguistic and educational dimensions in the “texts” and grammatical “abstracts” in both poetry and prose, and an explanation of how to use them in the grammatical curriculum. In order to achieve this goal, the premise was to present a methodological and theoretical study of the thesis.
The methodology is based on previous studies that are related to the subject of the study, and the theoretical part deals with the grammatical abstracts in terms of their origin, development and importance, in addition to examining educational linguistics and the need for it.
Then it is followed by providing an analytical and descriptive reading of a sample of selected abstracts of prose in order to reveal the linguistic, educational and psychological dimensions on which it is based, and to exploit them in building curricula.
A presentation of a descriptive analytical reading of a sample of poetic texts is provided to reveal the linguistic, educational and psychological background on which they were built, and to indicate how they can be used in building the curricula.
The end part aims at explaining how to invest the most important pedagogical and linguistic principles found in the textual and grammatical abstracts in the school curricula.
The thesis then concludes with the results that emanated from theory and practice.
