Abstract:
This study comes to highlight the efficiency of the communication in the reputation of the Algerian university institution, precisely the role of its official site in order to obtain the satisfaction of its internal public, in this case the students. In addition, highlight the importance of the person in charge of communication within the Algerian university institution to gain the trustworthiness of its internal public. Therefore, the issue addressed in this study is:
How can effective communication contribute to generate the reputation of the Algerian university institution?
Indeed, the objective of this study was to understand the role played by the official website of the Algerian academic institutions in the satisfaction of its internal student audience about its services. At the same time to know the motivations for the use of this technology and the advantages obtained thanks to it. Then, to try to reveal the role played by the person in charge of communication within the Algerian academic institutions in order to construct loyalty with its internal students.
Concerning the methodology adopted, our study is part of the descriptive studies by invoking the descriptive analytical approach. For the study sample, it included master's students from each of the universities under study, and 100 people were identified in each university, bringing the total number of the sample to 300 people. Regarding the tools used in the research, the questionnaire was used as the main tool that was distributed to the study sample, master students, in each of the universities studied. In addition, an interview was conducted with the head of the communication unit of each university. An interview was also conducted with the person in charge of the official website of each university in addition to the content analysis tool for the official websites of the three universities studied.
The study resulted in:
- Communication technology has contributed to the improvement and development of the Algerian university institution.
- Communication technologies are necessary for the good functioning of the Algerian university institution.
- The objective of Algerian academic institutions is to use the official site to gain the satisfaction of their internal students by meeting their needs and satisfying them.
- The contribution of the head of communication within the Algerian university institution has helped to build loyalty and trust among its internal students.
- The contribution of the official website of the Algerian university institution and the work of the person in charge of communication to the effectiveness of communication with the Algerian academic institution.
