Abstract

The study deals with an important aspect of colonial history in its scientific
dimensions, which is the Committee for the Exploration of Scientific Algeria
(1837 AD - 1842 AD), which worked on studying the social and cultural systems
of its inhabitants, and on researching its historical and civilizational héritage, so
that scientific activity coincides with military invasions and sweeping the land
through Settlements whose success has been linked to the success of mineral
exploration projects, the study of soil and climate properties, the emancipation of
norms, the colonisation of the ancien invaders, and the identification of their
settlement areas.
Colonial writing was characterized by the littérature of the membres of the
committee, by selectivity and bias when referring to local sources of the history
of Algeria. Referring to the history of ancient Algeria, not for anything but that
they have experienced the event, as their méthode of research relied on the
méthode of projection and interprétation, when dealing with issues of Islamic
législation drawn in their général from ideological déviations, translated into the
rituals and behaviors of newly converted societies, which the historian researcher
conducted the logic of measurement To reach fragmented rulings, the entire
Islamic religion (Qur'an and Sunnah) included pagan beliefs.
