تسلّط هذه الورقة الضوء على ظاهرة إبداعية عربية جديدة، وهي الأدب الأمريكي العربي أو الأدب العربي الأمريكي، وتطرح أسئلة شائكة حول ما هو الأدب الأمريكي العربي؟ ومن –أصلا- الأمريكان العرب؟ من أين أتوا؟ وما ظروف حياتهم في امريكا؟ وماذا يكتبون؟ ولمن يكتبون؟ ما هو موضعهم في المشهد الأمريكي المتعدّد العرقيات ما علاقتهم بالعالم العربي؟...الخ

It attempts to open controversial debate about its nature, topics, authors, aesthetics, we will ask questions such as: What is Arab American Literature? Who are Arab Americans? Where do they come from? What do they write? For Whom? What is their position in multi- ethnic literary American landscape?..etc
