Abstract
The summary:
Solar energy is one of the forms of renewable energy, which has become a major part of the interest of all countries of the world because of its great importance in providing a high percentage of traditional energy in addition to being clean and less expensive. Therefore, in order to exploit it, it is necessary to reach the best ways to collect and store it.
In this thesis, a new quasi-experimental model was developed to estimate and prediction the total solar radiation for the Souk Ahras region, Algeria, where we relied on to obtain data collected from 2017 to 2020, which are av- erage daily temperatures, average relative humidity, duration of sunshine, and geographical coordinates. Taken from Meteorology, Center for Renewable Energies Development (CDER), GSOD Global Surface Summary of the Day, and using the mathematical relationships we obtained the model for the Souk Ahras site, Algeria, which gave an excellent estimate of the total solar radia- tion and can be used anywhere in the world where the climatic conditions are similar.
