Abstract
The importance of the energy evaluation needs for the tillage operations is often a concern of the
researchers specialized in agro equipment. To answer this question, the latter proposed several mathematical models for the evaluation of the effort of tensile strength.
However the choice of the one of them, under precise soil conditions, often poses problem, seen the very significant number of parameter introduced into these models.
Taking account of the difficulties of the choice of a mathematical model, among those proposed in the literature, the work presented in this article is a contribution which allows a wise choice of the model to be used by taking account of the precise terms of employment.
For this purpose a computer program was conceived to quickly determine the effort of tensile strength starting from data and the preset work conditions. This computer tools are also, necessary to the establishment of a database on the energy needs in Algeria. Its generalization on the level of the various farms will allow the realization of a national card of the energy needs and consequently of an optimization of the agricultural equipment
