Successive developments and changes in the field of technology have played an important role in the adoption of information and communication technology by institutions, as it has helped them gain competitive advantages against their competitors in light of the highly volatile competitive environment, and has also helped institutions to support and enhance their competitive strategies depending on the characteristics and advantages of information and communication technology. This is what we tried to find out through this study, which aims to determine the degree of contribution of information and communication technology with its various components (hardware and equipment, software, networks, human resources) in enhancing the competitive strategy of all kinds (cost control strategy, excellence strategy, focus strategy) in Fertilizers Corporation - Annaba Branch, The analytical descriptive approach was adopted through the case study method by creating a questionnaire distributed to most of the executives and administrators of the Fertilal Foundation, as the number of respondents reached 96 individuals. The answers were analyzed using the spss22 program, and the study reached a set of results, the most important of which are:
- Fertilizers Corporation attaches great importance to information and communication technology in all its axes in enhancing its competitive strategy at the international level.
- The Fertil institution attaches importance to competitive strategies, but in varying proportions, as it is more interested in working with the principles of excellence strategy, while the focus strategy came second with an acceptable rate, followed by the cost control strategy with an average rate that does not reflect its importance for the institution.
- There is a statistically significant correlation between information and communication technology and the international competitiveness strategy at Fertilizers Corporation.
- The study also concluded that there is a statistically significant significant effect between information and communication technology and the international competitiveness strategy.
- While it was found that there were no differences in the answers of the study sample about the contribution of information and communication technology in enhancing the international competitiveness strategy in the Fertial Foundation due to the variables of gender, age, academic qualification, job, and seniority, while it was found that there were differences in the answers due to the variable of the degree of control in informatics. .
