Abstract

The composition of the Supreme Council of Magistracy is of great importance in view of the tasks entrusted to it as guarantor of the judge\'s independence and the independence of the judiciary, which ensures the professional conduct of the judge from his appointment to the end of his functional relation. It is this composition which guarantees the discipline in case of error, the question of the composition of the Superior Council of Magistracy raises many criticisms at the level of the countries of the world. But more than that, the composition of the Superior Council of Magistracy is at the heart of the debate every time the reform of the judicial system has been addressed. I have therefore tried through this study to highlight the composition of the Superior Council of Magistracy and its consecration of the independence of the judge
