Abstract
Scientific writing, can be a challenging aspect of English for Specific Purposes, requires certain key elements to ensure its quality. Among these elements, the abstractholds significant importance as it provides a summary and information about thecontent of the scientific writing to the readers. However, many scientific writers findwriting an abstract to be a complex task. In comparison to other research on the same theme, it was observed through a discussion with the supervisor that due to her experienceand frequent exchanges with all the administrative and educational university staff.We noticed that many of the department of law at university of Souk Ahras (public international law, private law, Administrative Law) request the intervention of professionals in English for their work of abstracts, publications in English on several occasions. Consequently, the focus of this research was to identify and address the errors present in the abstracts written by lecturers in English for their specific academic needs. The primary data for this research consists of variety of drafts of some abstracts of professors of law at the university of souk ahras that needed to be corrected(documents publication ...). The data is being collected through observation and documentation thendeeply analyzed, and presented usingqualitative descriptive methods
