Abstract

Abstract
The current study investigates the efficacy of employing the role-play technique in learning and teaching grammar rules to second-year foreign languages secondary school students at El Arbi Djemil High School in Sedrata, Souk-Ahras. The study utilizes teacher and student questionnaires alongside an experiment as research tools to comprehensively evaluate the impact of role-play technique on language learning outcomes. The experiment was conducted with a group of 26 second-year secondary school learners as an experimental group. The teachers questionnaire was answered by 10 teachers via Google Forms, and the students questionnaire was answered by the participants of the experimental group. The findings show that role-playing has a positive effect on grammar comprehension. Based on the obtained results, our hypotheses are affirmed. Finally, some recommendations and suggestions are offered for further research.
