وفّرت شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي مساحات اتصالية واسعة، أعطت لكل فرد ينتمي إلى مجتمع المعلومات الحق في حرية الرأي والتفكير، ثم الحق في حرية التعبير عن شخصه وهويته وثقافته، أين أصبح المستخدم قادرا على التعريف بثقافته ليس للقريب فقط بل للعالم بأسره، ولكنه في ذات الوقت أصبح عرضة للكثير من التهديدات التي تخترق خصوصيته الثقافية، هذه الخصوصية التي تعد الفاصل في تمييز هويات المجتمع عن بعضها البعض، وإذا ما غابت أو غيّبت زالت الحدود الفاصلة بين المجتمعات، وأصبحت عرضة للاضمحلال والذوبان في ثقافة أخرى، إذ لم يعد من السهل الحفاظ على هذه الخصوصية، خاصة في الفضاء الافتراضي الذي ساهم وبقوة في تعميق هذا الإشكال وزيادة تعقيداته. من هنا جاء هذا البحث يسعى إلى الكشف عن هذه الرهانات عن طريق وصفها نظريا والبحث في علاقاتها الخارجية في حدود السؤال الآتي: فيم تتمثل الرهانات التي تعترض الخصوصية الثقافية في الشبكات الاجتماعية في ظل المتغيرات الكونية التي يشهدها العالم اليوم؟.

Social media platforms have provided extensive communication channels, granting every individual in the information society the right to freedom of thought and opinion, as well as the right to express their identity, culture, and personality. Users now have the ability to define their culture not only for those close to them but for the entire world. However, simultaneously, users have become susceptible to various threats that compromise their cultural privacy. This privacy plays a crucial role in distinguishing between different community identities. If it erodes or is violated, the boundaries between communities blur, making them vulnerable to assimilation into other cultures. Preserving this privacy has become a formidable challenge, particularly in the virtual realm, which has significantly exacerbated and complicated this issue.
This research seeks to uncover these challenges and identify optimal methods for addressing them by providing a theoretical description and examining their external relationships, addressing the following question: What challenges hinder cultural privacy on social media platforms in light of the global trends observed in today\'s world?
