لا شك أن إبستمولوجيا غاستون باشلار كانت ولا تزال محط اهتمام العديد من الباحثين والمهتمين بالبحث العلمي، إذ استطاع من خلال كتاباته تسليط الضوء على أهم العوامل والعوائق التي تحول دون الوصول إلى المعرفة العلمية. فلا يُذكر اسمه إلا ويُستحضر معه مفهوم \"القطيعة الإبستمولوجية\". يُوظف باشلار مفهوم \"العائق الإبستمولوجي\" لشرح المظاهر المتعلقة بالركود والتراجع التي تصيب المعرفة العلمية في مرحلة معينة من تطورها. فهو يرفض اعتبار تاريخ العلم سلسلة من المشكلات التي تؤدي إلى بعضها البعض، أو أن حاضره تطور وإضافة على ماضيه، بل يرى أن هذا التاريخ يشهد اضطرابات واختلالات، ركودًا وتراجعًا، كما يشهد أيضًا ثورات وقفزات نوعية. وفي حين يُعتبر \"القطيعة الإبستمولوجية\" مفهومًا أساسيًا في إبستمولوجيا باشلار، فإنه يشرح المظاهر المتعلقة بالثورة والتجاوز في الفكر العلمي. لذلك، يعبر الجدل في تاريخ العلم عن عوائقه وانقساماته.

Abstract: There is no doubt that Gaston Bachelard\'s epistemology has been, and continues to be, of great interest to many researchers and those concerned with scientific inquiry. Through his writings, Bachelard was able to shed light on the most important factors and obstacles that hinder the attainment of scientific knowledge. His name is invariably associated with the concept of \"epistemological rupture.\" Bachelard employs the concept of the \"epistemological obstacle\" to explain the phenomena of stagnation and regression that scientific knowledge experiences at certain stages of its development. He rejects the idea that the history of science is merely a series of problems leading from one to the next or that the present is simply an evolution and addition to the past. Rather, he views this history as one marked by disruptions, disturbances, stagnation, and regression, while also witnessing revolutions and significant leaps forward. The concept of \"epistemological rupture,\" considered fundamental in Bachelard\'s epistemology, explains the manifestations of revolution and transgression in scientific thought. Thus, the debates in the history of science reflect its obstacles and divisions.
