Abstract

In the context of the desire to undermine the colonialist monopoly on truth and its dominance in exporting historical thought, as well as to stand against the war machinery and colonial diplomacy that have shaped realities for decades, this dissertation titled \"The Narrative of Resistance in Arabic Literature: From the Discourse of Identity to the Crisis of Narration\" aims to dismantle the stereotypical images attached to Arab resistance and the ideological manipulation that stripped it of legitimacy in its pursuit of liberation. The study also investigates the narrative mechanisms of contemporary resistance literature, relying on cultural studies that have laid the groundwork for open methodological alternatives. These alternatives recognize the effectiveness of narrative as a phenomenon that transcends literature—a discursive force upon which nations and societies depend to understand their troubled selves, seek their identities, and regenerate their presence.
