12.2.1 –Since its establishment, the University of Souk Ahras has implemented a policy of ethical sourcing for food and supplies, in accordance with Algerian state policies and laws. Its food supplies are regulated to ensure that meat, eggs, and dairy products come from sources that practice humane animal care and avoid any mistreatment. Additionally, food sources are subject to inspection and oversight laws to ensure healthy, non-perishable food quality.
12.2.3 – The University of Souk Ahras adopts a policy for the disposal of waste and hazardous materials produced by educational and research laboratories. Each year, the university issues consultations to contract with specialized companies for the technical burial of hazardous waste.
