Content	In order to allow a better understanding of the objectives of hydrological studies in relation to the design and sizing of city protection works against flooding, and based on the basic elements acquired, the aim is to have knowledge on the aspects application of these elements to structures to be dimensioned and planned and to resolve constraints linked to flooding in relation to the urban environment.
