Content | Chapter 1. General principles (3 Weeks) Chapter 2. 1D finite element method (4 Weeks) Chapter 3. 2D finite element method (4 Weeks) Chapter 4. 3D finite element method (4 Weeks) TP program Part 1: in Matlab (or other): Manipulation of matrices, Lagrange interpolation, numerical integration using the trapezoid and Simpson method, practical applications. Part 2: Use of FE software dedicated to geotechnics (Plaxis or other) and study of a practical case: Presentation of the software, creation and implementation of the calculation model (geometry, soil layer data, boundary conditions, initial conditions, loading, structural elements, calculation phasing, presentation and exploitation of results), practical applications. |
