Content | Teaching objectives: Organic agriculture is a production system that maintains the health of soils, ecosystems and people. It relies on ecological processes, biodiversity and cycles adapted to local conditions, rather than the use of inputs with negative effects. Organic farming combines tradition, innovation and science for the benefit of the common environment Recommended prior knowledge Have fundamental notions of organic farming, the environment, GMOs and the overall approach to good farming. Content of the material: I- General information on organic farming II- Organic farming and the environment 1- Effect of pesticides on environmental degradation 2- Organic farming and respect for living things 3.
