Content	Main objective Become aware of the evolution of contemporary linguistics through its different areas. Learning objectives:  Identify the different concepts associated with periods of linguistic development .  The reference theories that have marked linguistics.  The different analysis applications depending on the domain (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics). Other areas such as discourse analysis, conversational analysis,  sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, etc.  Reminder of the key notions of linguistics which have already been covered in the 1st and 2nd year.  Work on language since antiquity o Difference between Grammar and Linguistics o The different linguistic schools of the first half of the 20th Century (Structuralism, functionalism, distributionalism and Generative Grammar) o Linguistics and Pragmatics: Identify the linguistic problem by opposition to pragmatics
