Content	Teaching objectives: - Understand the use of verb tenses depending on the different parts of a dissertation academic. - Understand the conditional and its different uses. - Know and master summary techniques that meet a practical need: during studies and in professional life; any search documentary requires summary work. - Teach students to analyze a text to understand it and then reformulate it. - Develop reading and writing skills while respecting a requirement for rigor. - Use clear and rigorous syntax and rich and precise vocabulary. Material content: 1-the use of verb tenses in an academic dissertation. 2- the conditional and its different uses. 3- the summary technique. 3-1- Definition 3-2- Summary rules. 3-3- Method 3-3-1-Analysis phase. A- First reading. B- Prior analysis of the text. 3-3-2-synthesis phase. C- Establishment of the text plan and that of the summary. D- Writing the summary E- Presentation, writing and revision. 4- The summary of a scientific article. 5- Production of a scientific article summary. 5-1- What is a scientific article?
