Content	- Study of the plant cell - Physiology and biochemistry of the plant cell - Genotypic aspects of development: mutants, genes whose expression varies during development, developmental regulatory genes. Mechanisms of plant cell growth (in size and number) (wall constituents, biosynthetic pathways and mutant analysis). Differentiation of stomata and trichomes: mutant analysis. Gamete differentiation, fertilization and seed formation: mutant analysis. Mechanisms of apoptosis induced during plant development. - Phenotypic aspects of development: embryogenesis, seeds and fruits, vegetative development (leaves, stems and roots), flowering and floral development, self-incompatibility.
