Content	Chapter 1: The water cycle - The water cycle studied at different scales, - Contribution of underground circulations, - Place of hydrogeology in the global water cycle, - Quantification of the distribution of water in the different reservoirs, exchanges and cycle dynamics. Chapter 2: Properties of porous media - Single-phase fluid flows, - Hydraulics of porous media on a laboratory scale, -Notions of porosity, infiltration and permeability. Chapter 3: Physical laws - Study of the physical laws governing hydrogeology, - Free and confined aquifers at the scale of the geological layer. Chapter 4: Aquifer systems and water resources -Presentation of flows on the scale of the natural environment, -Main types of flows in underground environments.
